memories

Jamboree, this the second site I've made and designed. The first being an image shrine to Escaflowne's Dilandou. :B That site was very successful, I got a ton of hits for it, even though, and I admit it, it was just a bunch of images I took from other places. :\ And since it was my very first website, I had no idea how to design so I used the pagemaker that Geocities provided. It was quite an ill-designed site but regardless, I got a lot of hits and a lot of positive feedback which encouraged me.
I then started a Di Gi Charat site which was not as successful, though it was my first attempt at making a legit site that had my own images (screenshots) and content. I soon lost interest though so, now it's just a dead site.

v1»Jamboree This was my very first layout that I made by myself with html and a background I made myself and and image that I edited myself, granted, I just made the background transparent and turned the image into a .gif file but that counts.... right? :B
When I opened my Di Gi Charat site I named it NyoNyoNyo after Dejiko's laugh. ^^ I think this layout is very cute and a very good first try, if I do say so myself. :D
Note, I opened this site on July 4th, aka Gackt's birthday! (And the American independence day) At the time I either a) didn't know Gackt existed or more likely b) thought he was scary because all the images I've seen of him up to then were creepy pictures. :\

v2»Bootylicious Version 2, so called because I was probably listening to Bootylicious at the time I was making it. It's a very clean and simple layout and I had no idea what the intention I had for this layout was... You know, the two layouts were made with frames and I had such a better time using frames than tables which is quite the opposite for most everyone else. :\ Though now, I rely heavily on the use of div tags that I can barely remember how to do frames or tables. :\

v3 Once again, I used frames for this layout, and as I commented on my updates, I was improving quite a bit with my html skills. :D I also used some javascript I think in this layout, with the little squares below. I wish I remembered how to do that. :\ This is also quite a simple layout with minimal image editting, though I probably thought it was a lot back then. XD

v4 Version 4 was a collaborative effort by me and my friend, Sen. Actually, it was mostly her. I went to her house and she showed me how to use brushes. She was just sitting there doing her thing and every once in a while she'd ask if I liked what she did and I'd just nod wishing that I could design like her. She does things so easily, this layout was quite simple for her.^^
I think this layout is really pretty. It reminds me of a garden. :D

v5»Pretty in Pink Sadly, this is the very last layout of Jamboree.:( It's very pink and when I made this, I thought it was sooo cute, but now I think it looks kinda creepy. :\ Um... there's not much I have to say about this layout... so yeah.
